You’ve been around the culinary block a few times, so you know good food when you see it (or rather, taste it). We’re here to provide you with food that’s not only good but equal parts nourishing, delicious, and convenient. Our enthusiastic chefs see deliciousness as the bare minimum and take creativity as a challenge, priding themselves in never preparing the same menu twice. Experience all of the joy and none of the worry with our ability to accommodate nutritional needs and dietary restrictions.
We build our dining schedules around your active lifestyle. Our three restaurant-style dining rooms serve meals three times a day, so you can continue to enjoy an active retirement lifestyle without missing a beat.

The Sandia Dining Room
The Sandia Dining Room offers convenient buffet options, including a soup and salad bar, dessert bar, and three choices for hot food options (including a heart-healthy option). In late Summer/Fall 2026, La Vida Llena will complete a renovation to convert the Sandia Dining Room into marketplace-style dining space, adding an option to enjoy a meal prepared fresh in front of you.
This fan favorite serves over 8,000 meals a week—so join us for a meal and make that one more!
The Overlook Dining Room
The Overlook Dining Room at Alta Vista provides postcard-worthy views of the Sandia Mountains in addition to delectable made-to-order fare. This location is only open for dinner and provides the same dining options as the Sandia Dining room.
Nueva Vista Dining Room
The Nueva Vista Dining Room strikes a perfect balance of high-class dining that’s not too formal or uptight (we won’t tell anyone if you use the wrong fork). It’s only open for dinner, leaving you to dream about the filet mignon or fish you’ll enjoy all day. It also contains a private dining room that seats eight people and can be reserved by residents.
The Corner Café
The Corner Café is our bistro where good food and everyday convenience come together. Stop in for classic American favorites such as sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and a rotation of daily specials, all served fresh for lunch and midday bites. It is also the spot for quick treats with resident favorites like New Mexico–inspired popcorn, refreshing drinks, and ice cream. Beyond food, you’ll find everyday essentials like toiletries, small grocery items, and household basics. Whether you’re sitting down for a relaxed meal or picking up something on the go, The Corner Café offers comfort, flavor, and convenience in one welcoming place.
